Do you accept credit cards?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.

When will my account be charged?

When your order is placed and a confirmation sent, we will charge your account 50% of the order amount.   The balance will be charged with your order ships.

How accurate are the colors shown for each product?

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products. However, we can't guarantee your computer monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate. If you're in doubt, please order a free fabric sample.

Can I order a fabric and finish swatches before choosing fabric for an item?

Please contact us by email at mail@chernerchair.com to request a finish or specific fabric swatch.   Complete sets of fabric samples cannot be sent to customers but may be requested directly from the manufacturer.

Where can I see this Cherner Chair products in person?

Click here for a list of Authorized Cherner Chair dealers in the USA.   Not all dealers carry all Cherner chair designs, so please contact a dealer in your area before visiting a store.

What is the average lead time for an order?  Do you keep anything in stock?  Can I have an order expedited?

All Cherner Chair products are made to order for each customer.  We do not keep any inventory on hand.    The average lead time is 5-6 weeks.   At this time we do not have a “quick ship” program so we are unable to accommodate requests for expedited orders (although it doesn’t hurt to ask).

Can Cherner Chair repair or restore my vintage chairs made by Plycraft?

Cherner Chair can not repair or restore vintage chairs manufactured by the Plycraft Company from the 1950's through the 1980's. While our designs are true to Norman Cherner's original specifications, we use modern fasteners and manufacturing techniques which make our parts incompatible with vintage chairs.

I have what I think are vintage Norman Cherner designed chairs made by Plycraft. Can you tell me what they are worth?

Cherner Chair can not offer you an appraisal on the value of your vintage chairs. We recommend finding an appraiser of American furniture and decorative arts in your area through the Appraisers Association of America

How can I get chairs manufactured by the Cherner Chair Company repaired?

If you have a problem with one of our products purchased from one of our authorized retailers, we request that you contact them first before contacting us. Customer can call our toll-free number 1.866.243.7637) to get information on having products repaired.  We can only repair chairs which are still under warranty.

My chair arrived damaged, what should I do?

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt and report any damage to the freight carrier. Make sure the freight carrier makes note of your reported damage. Also contact your retailer or the Cherner Chair Company within 48 hours.
